UAE corporate tax is computed from financial statements prepared under IFRS, with records retained and available for review. A set of books kept loosely for internal purposes will not carry a tax position under scrutiny.
We maintain the ledger, run the month-end, produce the statements and reconcile everything a reviewer would expect to see reconciled — because the same file has to support the corporate tax computation and the VAT returns sitting on top of it.
